CHEERS IN OUR THEATER CAFÉ
Scheltema Leiden’s Theater Café is a cozy cafe with an industrial character and a 1970s interior.
The Theater Café occupies one corner of our monumental building. The café has its own entrance at the Marktsteeg and a spacious terrace boat located at Oude Singel.

The space has large windows offering a phenomenal view of the Oude Gracht and Oude Singel canals, and of the Leidse Schouwburg, the oldest theater in the Netherlands.
Atmospheric
The interior features vintage chairs and lighting. This café, with its own bar, is a pleasant, relaxed space and ideal for smaller parties or business receptions.
This area can be used in combination with the adjacent Theaterzaal to accommodate larger groups. The Theater Café also doubles as a subspace for business meetings.
